Synopsis of my forthcoming novel:
Romney is a highly sensitive young man living in a future world in which love is a foreign concept and human touch is taboo. He becomes infatuated with Taica, the only woman in their society capable of becoming pregnant, but quickly loses her when she is sequestered for scientific examination. Romney becomes obsessed with finding a way to save her from a horrible fate as a lab rat, and enlists the help of his ecclectic best friend Shen to find and rescue Taica. As the two men search every corner of their city, they uncover secrets they were never intended to find out, all while the society they live in slowly begins to fall under siege by an unlikely foe, a would-be messiah who has forsaken his destiny to save mankind.
